April security update
Google has updated its Security Bulletin, and that means a new security patch has been made available for Android. The April security update addresses several vulnerabilities in the operating system through a fix. Every month, Google releases a security update, which manufacturers can then also work with to optimise it for their devices.

So now it is the turn of the April update. It is not entirely clear exactly what issues are being addressed. Indeed, for some time now, Google has stopped releasing details about patches directly. This is in order to enhance Android's security. The update will become available on the various Pixel devices in the foreseeable future. In addition, we already wrote today that the update can be downloaded by devices from the Samsung Galaxy S26 series.
