'Your Android device could soon sync aeroplane mode with watch'

Google is preparing several improvements, for Android. It should become possible for the aeroplane mode you turn on on your smartphone to be synchronised with your smartwatch. The feature seems to be in development.

Synchronisation of aircraft mode

Google is developing a feature to synchronise aeroplane mode between Android phones and smartwatches. If you activate aeroplane mode on your smartphone, it will also automatically transfer to your smartwatch. The feature under development will only work with Wear OS smartwatches.

Aeroplane mode turns off all wireless radio connections with a single tap. While this feature is mainly meant for on the plane, it is also used to save battery when you don't have power nearby. The new feature was discovered in an early test version of Android. Unknown is when the sync feature will be rolled out to the general public.
